Cash Flow & Budgeting
Writing down your goals and objectives is really important. We work as a team to understand what is important in your life.

Retirement Income Planning
This is probably the most important way I help people. Seeing your budget written out on a piece of paper will be an eye-opening experience. Understanding what you are spending money on today will help you learn if your resources are being used to meet your financial goals and life priorities. If they line up: GREAT. If not, we will set you up a plan and get you on the right track.

Tax Intelligence
Pharmacist Finance aims to use the provisions of the tax code to your advantage. Whether maximizing contributions to your company-sponsored retirement plan, planning for college or funding a Health Savings Account we want to tax code to work for you. We will work with your tax professional when reviewing your taxes.

Saving for Retirement
Most of us have a retirement plan offered by our employer. Contributing into your workplace retirement plan is a great starting point. Most employers offer some type of matching contribution. We will help you understand your plan and get the most out of it.

Asset Management
Understanding your tolerance for risk is central to crafting a portfolio of investments that helps you achieve your financial goals. We will consider both quantitative and qualitative inputs when building your portfolio. On the quantitative side, we use a software called Riskalyze. We go further and talk with you to get a better understanding for how you feel when your account values decrease or increase. That is the qualitative side. It is my belief that good portfolios are built with both quantitative and qualitative inputs.

Estate & Beneficiary Planning
Pharmacist Finance works with estate planning and elder law attorneys to make sure that you have the right planning documents in place. We also review these documents regularly with you as life changes. Pharmacist Finance will also review all of your account beneficiary designations to make sure they are in line with your wishes.

College Planning
Establishing a 529 college savings account is a great way to begin saving for post-secondary educational expenses. Earning within a 529 college savings account accumulates tax-deferred and withdraws are tax-free if they are used to pay for qualified higher education expenses.

Risk Management & Life Insurance
We encourage all of our clients to consider life insurance. Life insurance can be used to replace family income or help cover tax burdens for wealthy families. We work with a variety of insurance companies and will help you find a policy that meets your needs and your budget.

Medicare
Pharmacist Finance partners with Medicare specialists to help you better understand Medicare what Medicare offers and how to get enrolled. We work alongside Medicare professionals to help educate our pharmacist clients on supplemental coverage options to maximize benefits.
